Steam or Dry Carpet Cleaning

Here at Sun Rise, we provide two types of carpet cleaning services - Encapsulation (Dry cleaning) and Steam Cleaning (Hot Water Extraction).

Australian standard refers Encapsulation as maintenance or surface cleaning. We apply detergent that wraps up soils from the carpet and forms them into a crystal state, followed by a vacuuming process to collect the crystals by a powerful commercial vacuum. Dry cleaning still involves water consumption but will require less water than steam cleaning thus faster drying time.

Steam Cleaning should be your option when you are looking for a thorough cleaning. After pre-treating the carpet to bring the deep down soil up to the surface, we effectively operate the equipment to inject steam or water meanwhile vacuuming the water and dirt out. With our state-of-the-art truck-mounted and portable machinery, the water injection and vacuuming are done at the same time, leaving your carpet damp that will quickly dry within 4 to 8 hours. Steam Cleaning is recommended by carpet manufacturer as a preferred method because it can prolong the lifespan of your carpet.

Useful tips:
Although our extraction while steaming cleaning process will leave you with nearly dry carpets, we do strongly recommend customers to stay off damp carpets as much as possible, for such reasons: 1. Damp carpet is more easily to track soil from your shoes or foreign objectives. 2. It is also slipping and falling safety hazards

Some stains and spots won't be removed from general carpet cleaning process. To remove those stains, Aaron will apply a specialised stain removal treatment. Talk to us about the type and age of the stains and what type your carpet is as they are all determining factors for a successful stain removal. Aaron is happy to give you free advice about your concerns, and we will be honest with you if the stain won't be removable at all.

Tile & Grout Cleaning

Water Damage Restoration​​

Regardless what time you have trouble with water damaged carpet, Aaron can come to rescue 24/7. Whether the whole room has been saturated with water or it’s just 1 square meter wet area, a series of action will be taken to restore your carpet good and dry. Some steps we do including water extraction, drying, carpet deodorising and disinfection, browning treatment and steam carpet cleaning. You will never have to worry about smelly or moulding issues down the track.

It is crucial you find an experienced carpet cleaner as soon as you find water damages your carpet. If your carpet starts to mould or sewage water damages it, we recommend you to replace the damaged carpet.
